Great, busy, always busy! Just getting my technique down, making boards and putting some theories to the test.
You seem to have brought a whole new school of thought to the company especially for the dropknee guys. They must certainly value your depth of knowledge?
I’ve spent a good portion of my life riding a lid, from stockies to customs you get to know how different dimensions work and feel, where they excel and struggle, its just a matter of finding the right balance for every rider.
It must be sweet to finally make your own boards exactly how you like em?
Yeah but now if I kook a wave I can’t blame my board! It’s still gonna be my fault.
Who motivates you and who do you respect the most?
Any one who rides with the flow of a wave but is willing to think out side the box.
What’s the most embarrassing moment in your life so far?
I was checking Gas one day with a few of the boys, I was standing on the rocks in the car park and went to step over to the next rock and fell straight on my ass, every one lost it and one of the guys asks me what happened, so I stupidly got back up on the rock to show him what I was trying to do and feel straight back on my ass. Yep, sweet balance!

Who are the main people or friends in your life and what have they done for you lately?
Family for sure, mine and my girlfriends, there always doing me favours and they’re always there for some good advice.

What’s the scariest moment you have had bodyboarding?
Paddling back with Hughsey from North wall in Port Mac about half way over, Hughsey said he saw a shark and I saw something, but I wasn’t definite, by the time I looked back Hughsey had made a break for it and I had to do the power paddle.
What’s your ipod flavor currently?
It’s always on shuffle, a good mix of hip-hop, breaks and punk keeps it fresh.
If you could look inside a crystal ball, what do you see as a possible trend in the next 2 years?
MC Hammer pants and man perms.
What’s been the most memorable trip ,concert or party moment for you recently?
The Herd @ Breakfest in Perth last boxing day that was pretty sweet or any time thing get rouge with Tau.
Do you have a secret talent we should know about?
I can shape a mean hedge.
