Funkshen has been recently adding to its impressive junior bodyboard TEAM and the arrival of Davis Blackwell from Mandurah WA has strengthened the funkshen name even further.
Davis has been doing some extraordinary bodyboarding at his local wedge recently and at only 11 years old he`s already been to Port Macquarie to compete in the nationals last year making it to the semi finals! Davis is the youngest member of the Funkshen TEAM and is the youngest competitive WA bodyboarder also. Well done Davis! Keep your eye out for this little tearaway!
Davis was recently rewarded with his hard work with a brand new custom Funkshen machine shaped by Tully and he is using the new Flight Lite core and this is what he said about it "the custom board is pefect ive only riden it twice and its nice and light and comperd to my other boards wen I hit the lip i fly on it. I get heeps of speed on it and its easy to do rolls and spins on it its the best board I have ever had. I think i will do great in the state rounds now i have a funkshen board.When i went up on the rocks to check wedge today, some guys said "sick board"
