Funkshen customer Mike Maslin recently returned from Northern Sumatra on his brand new Funkshen custom creation and this is what he had to say about his insanely good trip.
"Hey Tully
Just wanted to drop a line and say cheers for the sick board – it did everything it was supposed to (and maybe more) on my trip to indo this year. Got plenty of uncrowded (unlike in Bali) waves around a few islands including one memorable session at a very hefty right hander that got the adrenalin pumping (and the lungs working) more than it has in a long time. Bumped into one of your crew at a pool bar in kuta and it sounded like your trip was shaping up well too, hope it was a good one.
I know Dave was really stoked with how his went as well, although it copped a hammering out at Nias on one of the bigger swells of the season. I know I will be going another Funkshen in the very near future, probably a PE for the south coast this year – will be in touch.
