Recent visitor to Oz, Dan Agelavu has told us his eventful experiences in Australia and his new Funkshen board.
Hi Guys,
Well, just got back from a 3 weeks stint in oz and got married to my girl of
5 years.
Back in london now but was stoked to walk into Solid and get my new ride,
all black with white pinstripe you guys did for me in January.
I scored some fun waves (in boardies) for 2 weeks and the board went really
well. In fact I'd go far as saying it's in my top 5 boards ever. I really
like the core - it is flexy as hell and I was a bit apprehensive at first
when in the shop - but it just handles like a broken in board and really
offers some great projection qualities.
I'm hoping you kept some specs on it as I'll order another to leave in oz -
maybe with double stingers but the shape is awesome - is like an old skip/7x
template - fits snug underneath my arm but not to snug - sick.
Anyways - here's a pick from our balcony. I surfed twice on the day of our
wedding and 3 times a day for the week leading up and after the wedding - so
this board is a keep sake for sure.
